Welcome to Wheelie Dan's Page!

Welcome bike nut!

So you have a wheelie machine, but don't know how to wheelie. Check out my wheelie tutorial, by clicking on Max.

My other bikes, that I intend to keep, are a 1998 Blue Yamaha R1 (above), a Kawasaki ZX-11 for touring, a Suzuki GSXR-600 for racing, and a couple of YSR's for having fun.

I sold earlier this year, my previous race bike, a Honda CBR 900RR. I've left a link here so you can read the info on it. (As well as the Dyno Graphs). It weighs in at less than 400 lbs, and made 112hp, at the rear wheel on the Dyno. I say made because the current owner blew the engine! I raced it at Portland International Raceway (PIR), as well as the now Defunct RAM in coos-bay. My best finish at OMMRA was 14th, and my best finish at RAM was 2nd.

Suzuki GSXR-600

This bike seems to generate more hits than any other, And I've had more requests to update this page than any other. Since I've last updated it, I'd had the bike borrowed by the #1 WMRRA holder Jimmy Moore. I've dropped my lap times by a second and half. And I've highsided it at turn 6 in PIR at over 100mph. My best finish was 21st in the 750 supersport race.

Suzuki TL1000S

This is the first twin I've ever had. Some people race em, but that's not for me. But find a nasty gravel laden back road, and this bike rules. Dyno graphs and the picture most riders are familiar with are on the TL page.

Yamaha YSR - 50

I've got 2 of these little bad boys. What can I say, all the fun of a YZF-R1, without the adrenaline. If you think these bikes don't haul, click on it.

Kawasaki ZX-11 (Ninja)

Believe it or not, this is my cruiser bike. It’s the most comfortable for long distances, and my girlfriends favorite. Did I mention it goes 172 mph!

Yamaha YZF-R1

Saving the best for last. Everything you have read about this bike is true. If you haven't read anything, in two words. Its awesome! I've had two of these, got most of kicks on the red and white one at the top of the page, and am now sedately riding a blue one, as my wrist continues to heal from a racing accident. It's still fun even though I don't have the strength to turn the throttle full on!
